CLIENT
The client is an internationally renowned leader in designing and manufacturing products for microbiology diagnostics. Headquartered in France, this billion dollar publicly-traded company provides in vitro diagnostic instrumentation for clinical and industrial purposes in over
150 countries.
PROBLEM, CHALLENGE, OPPORTUNITY
Because their products are subject to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, they must adhere to stringent and continually-changing regulations that pervade every aspect of their operations, including marketing and communications efforts. As a result, the company routinely experiences "last minute" FDA-mandated revisions to mailed pieces. They needed a vendor able to meet these demanding requirements not just once in a while, but as a matter of everyday operations.
Gabriel Group has proudly served the client for more than 18 years and annually produces some three million pieces of digitally-printed materials: package inserts, marketing materials, and training manuals produced in 19 different languages. Printing on demand or "just in time" is standard operating procedure in order to meet strict requirements and last-minute modifications.
RESULT
The client has commended Gabriel Group with its "World Class Supplier" designation for six consecutive years. To merit this standing, a supplier's overall quality rating must exceed 98% with on-time delivery rates of at least 95%. Gabriel Group has earned respective ratings of 98.95% and 99.5% in these two categories. They have recommended Gabriel Group to numerous firms.
